Cymaco Nederland BV specializes in the re-inspection and maintenance of gas bottles and bottle bundles for acetylene. Analogous to the technical inspection of vehicles, gas bottles are also inspected, as stipulated in the current national, European (EN standards) and international (ISO standards) regulations. This inspection consists of a thorough external visual inspection, an inspection of the porous mass inside the gas cylinder, the connections and a test of the functioning of the valve. This in order to guarantee further safe use of the gas cylinder or bundle.
In addition, maintenance work is also carried out at the request of the customer, in particular external blasting and painting of the gas bottles and protective caps, checking and rebuilding bottle bundles, renewal of valves, and the like.

Cymaco Nederland BV is ISO 9001 certified and also holds several delegations, including those for re-inspection according to the 'Transportable Pressurized Equipment Directive', and homologations, including for the re-inspection of American acetylene gas cylinders according to the guidelines of the United States Department of Transportation.

The Belgian sister company (Cymaco NV) is responsible for the re-inspection and maintenance of gas bottles and bottle bundles for gases under pressure, for example oxygen, nitrogen or the noble gases, and liquefied gases, such as carbon dioxide and cooling gases. These bottles require, in addition to a visual internal and external inspection, a hydraulic or ultrasonic test. Additional maintenance work on such gas cylinders is internal blasting, dry cleaning and special drying techniques for gases for medical and special applications.

Both companies work according to the best available techniques, always with an eye for safety, environmental care and quality.
